Kapok is a natural material that is harvested from the cotton-like fluff from the Ceiba pentandra (aka Kapok) tree. The fluff is very buoyant and resistant to water absorption. Therefore, Kapok dubbing is an ideal natural plant-based dubbing for dry flies.
