How to tie a 3 Minute Bugger

The 3 Minute Bugger is basically a standard Woolly Bugger pattern, tied with an easy-to-use body material and a CDC Hackle. The concept behind the tying process and material selection is to have a fly that is ultra-quick to tie and has plenty of movement. In this tutorial, we’ll show you exactly how to tie the fly, and also discuss what other materials you can use to make it your own.

Because the fly is so quick to tie, it is an excellent box filler. You can also tie a wide variety of colours, sizes and weights to suit you specific stillwater needs.
