Mustad Chinu Light Hook

R75.00

The Mustad Chinu Light Hook (10021AP-TX) is a modern, light-wire version of the classic Chinu pattern, designed primarily for light tackle bait fishing in both freshwater and saltwater.

Built with Mustad’s advanced AlphaPoint® 4.8 technology, this hook features a slimmer, sharper point that delivers fast, efficient penetration with minimal effort, improving hook-up rates even on subtle takes.

The hook’s 2X fine wire construction keeps weight down, allowing for more natural bait presentation while still maintaining strength through its forged design. Its slightly upturned ringed eye and kirbed (offset) point further improve hooking efficiency and holding power.

Finished with Mustad’s TitanX matte coating, the 10021AP-TX offers increased durability, corrosion resistance, and a low-visibility profile in the water.

Although designed as a bait hook, the Chinu Light has gained popularity among fly tiers, particularly for Pug flies and modern stillwater patterns, where a lighter wire hook with a wide gape and natural profile is beneficial.
