The Three Falls syndicate is one of South Africa’s premier trout destinations. It is, in our opinion, one of the best spots to hone your skills as an angler, and because the farm runs its own hatchery, the water is stocked to the brim.
Our next fly fishing clinic at this incredible venue runs from 25 – 28 March 2025. The purpose of this clinic is for you to learn everything about fly fishing (not only casting), so that you can go out and catch fish on your own.
Three Falls offers incredible fly fishing opportunities for both rainbow and brown trout. The river has cascading weirs, that allow the fish to survive throughout the summer months, yet it does retain that river magic.
Each day’s fishing will be split into morning and afternoon sessions, with a lunch in between.
The fact that Three Falls has their own hatchery and that the fishery is managed incredibly well, mean that you’ll catch good numbers of quality fish.
The main aim of this trip is not only to catch as many fish as you possibly can – although we will try our best.

Three Falls lies close to Lydenburg, Mpumalanga, in a secluded valley.
We stay in one of the lodges on the property with easy access to fishing spots.
Please take note, the property is accessible via a long gravel road. A vehicle with decent ground clearance is required.
