The inaugural Groot Drakenstein Fly Fishing Club event will take place on 11 February 2026 at the Groot Drakenstein Games Club. During this event we’ll cover a basic fly that has been working well for us and is an ideal fly to tie as your first fly.
We will also discuss the purpose of the club, when the events will happen and what type of events the members would want to see.
If you have a fly tying vise, bring it along with your tools, we’ll cover the materials. Please note, this won’t be a fly-tying only club and will rather look at fly fishing as a whole.
